Missions is a connection. Missions can connect you to God’s call on your life to go and serve. Missions connects God to those you serve as you bring the message of His love to those who may never have heard it. And missions connects you directly to the orphans and at-risk children you are serving, letting them know that someone loves them, cares for them and cares enough about their needs to travel across the globe for them. More Christians than ever are connecting to God’s call to serve children through direct missions involvement with Buckner. You can be a short-term missionary through Buckner International. What’s your direct missions involvement?
Every year, Buckner sends thousands of individuals and church groups on short-term mission trips to minister to orphans and at-risk children and families in the United States and more than eight countries around the world.
As a mission trip participant, you will take part in daily devotionals, pass out humanitarian aid, lead Vacation Bible Schools or sports camps, and deliver the Gospel message to many children and families who long for the hope and healing offered through Jesus Christ. Buckner handles all the details of your overseas travel, and works with you to coordinate group travel within the United States. Trip participants are responsible for raising their own support, although Buckner can help provide tips for fund raising within your church or community group.
