At Buckner International, we offer several adoption services designed to fit families’ needs to grow in love.
We have been an adoption leader since 1884 and are a Christ-centered ministry that believes adoption is a profound way to change a child's life forever. Our staff of licensed, experienced social workers has a commitment to personal relationships and emotional support for the adoptive parents, birth parents and children we serve. We offer many different adoption programs to fit your specific needs, including:
International Adoption Services
For families in all 50 states, the Buckner Adoption Network offers families the opportunity to
adopt internationally, bringing the world home -- and bringing home to the world. There are a large number of young children in orphanages who could benefit from a loving, nurturing home. These children are unlikely, under the current conditions in their home countries, to be adopted within their own culture. Because these children lack families to guide and assist them, they are on their own at age 16, with little or no vocational or educational skills. Their opportunities for the future are not promising. We have an established and well-respected program based on Christian principles and a mission focus to help orphans from overseas to be placed in permanent, loving adoptive families. We desire to help all orphans, even those who may not be able to be adopted. Buckner has established other programs such as foster care, summer camps and Vacation Bible Schools to help all orphans in need of love and hope for their future. International adoption is one way in which we can help to give these children hope for their futures.
Domestic Adoption Services
For Texas families, the Buckner Adoption Network can provide
domestic infant, foster-to-adopt and TDFPS adoption services. We’ve had the privilege and experience of placing more than 4,000 children in loving homes. The domestic program also provides birthmothers with experienced counseling and an open adoption program. Our commitment to the miracle of adoption means that we provide comprehensive, lifelong services to you before, during and after placement.
