First Mission Trip to Mexico Changes Lives
A mission team from First Baptist Church of Garland served hundreds of indigenous Chichimeca Indians from June 20-27 in San Luis de la Paz, Guanjuanato through block parties, Vacation Bible School and medical clinics. It was Buckner International's first mission trip to the bordering country.

I am amazed at how God works.

I helped with collecting items for our mission trip to Romania from the start. I saw all the items we collected go from our church foyer to my office, then to the gym for sorting, and lastly into bags to load onto the airplane to Romania. (more)

Travel with Buckner International

With more than 143 million orphans in the world today, it’s hard to justify doing nothing. All Christians have a responsibility to care for “orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27). It’s what James called “pure religion.”

It’s what we call “your mission.”

Dozens of churches and hundreds of individuals have made an impact in orphans’ lives – and their own – through Buckner International mission trips.

Buckner connects caring Christians with orphan and at-risk children for short-term missions in several countries including: China, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Kenya, Latvia, Mexico, Romania, Russia, and Peru. Buckner also offers domestic missions opportunities along the United States-Mexico border.

In 2008, the first mission trips will be offered to Honduras and Uganda where Buckner is developing new programs and ministry. Buckner also offers international summer internship programs in June and July.
