Use your skills to help make life better for orphans, vulnerable children and families by becoming a Project Go! volunteer. You will be challenged physically, spiritually, and emotionally as you carry the love of Christ.
During your time of service you will come alongside the international staff in their daily roles to meet the needs of those in their community. These families, children and orphans receive care, food and educational assistance from Buckner. You may teach English classes, host Vacation Bible School, play games, go on home visits, cook, and so on! You may also help care for orphans, help with construction projects and manual labor as well as assist in feeding programs and volunteer in Community Transformation Centers. Volunteers are encouraged to expect the unexpected and be flexible in serving in whatever areas are needed in various ministries and last-minute projects.

There are almost 50,000 children orphaned in Peru. Buckner works to support several private and government orphanages, helps the government
provide foster care, and facilitates social services in Lima through Buckner’s Community Transformation Center as well as in the surrounding areas of Cusco. You will work directly with the children and families in our ministry locations providing services such as painting, assisting short term mission teams, hosting vacation bible school and TONS of time jump roping and running around with kids!

There are more than 1.1 million orphaned due to HIV/AIDS. Nearly a quarter of the population in Kenya lives on less than $1 a day. Buckner supports children in Nairobi, Busia, Bungoma and Kitale through residential programs, child development centers, medical clinics, humanitarian aid support, foster care and more. By volunteering with us, you will spend most of your time cooking for the orphans, assisting with social work procedures, teaching, assisting in the medical clinics, teaching Sunday School, training women in the tech room in sewing and drawing beautiful sidewalk chalk masterpieces!

| There are nearly 800,000 orphans in Russia. An estimated 1 million children live on the streets. At age 16, Russian orphans are forced to leave orphanages and fend for themselves. You will work directly with orphanage children by ministering through vacation bible school, sport camps, games and crafts at several different orphanages in St. Petersburg. |

| Many families live in the colonias without basic needs of adequate housing, food, water and electricity. Buckner works to improve the lives of these families to provide humanitarian aid, construction of new housing and repairs, VBS and other ministries for the children. You would work directly with the children and families as you provide support for these ministries and the mission teams. |

| An estimated 370,000 children are orphaned in Guatemala. Buckner works to support children living in government orphanages and owns several homes for babies, single mothers and teenagers transitioning into adulthood. You will have an opportunity to work in orphanages and Buckner's Community Transformation Center doing a variety of ministries through vacation bible school and assisting short term teams. |
