Buckner is a diverse global ministry that seeks to make life better for orphans, at-risk children and families. Buckner aims to build long-term relationships and work through our focus on six key areas: orphanage assistance, education and training, medical care, program development, community development, and humanitarian aid.

With more than 143 million orphans in the world today, it’s hard to justify doing nothing. All Christians have a responsibility to care for “orphans and widows in distress” (James 1:27). It’s what James calls “pure religion.” We are challenged to respond to this challenge.
