With more than 143 million orphans in the world today, it’s hard to justify doing nothing. All Christians have a responsibility to care for “orphans and widows in their distress” (James 1:27). It’s what James called “pure religion.”

It’s what we call “your mission.”

Dozens of churches and hundreds of individuals have made an impact in orphans’ lives – and their own – through Buckner International mission trips.

Buckner connects caring Christians with orphan and at-risk children for short-term missions in several countries including: China, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Kenya, Honduras, Latvia, Mexico, Romania, Russia, and Peru. Buckner also offers domestic missions opportunities along the United States-Mexico border.
